This dream of a dress features a large blue rose print in soft chiffon draped over a boned bodice. A sage green duchess satin sash wraps around the bodice to the nipped in waist and finishes with a bow and long tails. The skirt is very full to the floor with stiff net and muslin underskirts. Optional halter neckline.
A truly stunning 1950s design.
Fabric: printed chiffon with net and muslin lining
Colour: blue, greens, sage and ivory
Fastening: side metal zip and internal waist stay
Label: unsigned, label not present, professionally made
Age: 1950s
Condition: good wearable condition, light wear overall. No significant marks or damage of note. Dry Cleaned, Steamed and Ready to Wear.
